The Grand Club Lounge of the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok was one of the hotels which had generous options for canapes. Unfortunately, on my visit the The Grand Club Lounge was not open, so I wasn’t able to have the full experience there. Instead, it was at Bar @494 which is situated in the lower lobby. Although Bar @494 has a good atmosphere for evening cocktails, it’s not as comfortable with sofas as one would normally have in the lounge.

You can choose your food options from the options from a menu, not buffet, which was so much better I feel. I stayed at the Pullman Bangkok King Power a little while back and their executive lounge food options were too limited. This was not the case at this hotel. A lot of detail went into the presentation of the dishes and the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok can be proud of it.
The staff were attentive and our orders were served in no time. Although there were more than enough options for drinks, I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t have options for cocktails.
Due to the low capacity, breakfast was only served in The Dining Room where a fantastic International Buffet is served in the evenings. There were also no snacks available throughout the day for club guests, but you could go to the Erawan Bakery for non-alcoholic beverages only.
