A Spectacular Festival of Lights.
From November 15th-24th, 2019, locals and visitors were entertained by an illuminating festival in the City of Angels. Some iconic venues were lit up, for example the Central Grand Post Office to old warehouses. It kind of felt like being on a scavenger hunt with a map to guide us to the various locations.
The event exposes you not only to what’s on show, but also to the rest of Charoen Krung Road and the surrounding area. The road is of historical value as it was the first modern road to be built around the mid-19th century, when the change from water transportation shifted to roads.
The event featured many diverse artists and pieces. I wish I had enough time to see them all, but I could only attend a few. I’m already looking forward to the following event. 🙂
