The Majestic Suite Poolside Villa (122) in which I stayed at for this visit is spacious and well laid out. The bed is huge and the amount of attention that went into the presentation of it was out of this world! There’s even a living room with ample seating and a TV. However, I do feel that the TV could be bigger because from the bed you wouldn’t be able to enjoy a night in. Then again, if you’re in Krabi to enjoy nature and the fantastic beach, you wouldn’t be spending much time in front of the TV.

There’s a separate dressing area with sufficient storage space, as well as an in-room safe. Included in this area you have a table and chair which is good if you’re on a working holiday of some sort or need a workspace available. The bathroom has a good shower for a quick freshen up, as well as a bathtub to relax in.

As for things to do at the resort: the main feature of the hotel is the swimming pool. I like the fact that they are accommodating with swimming after the pool officially closes. Just ask reception and they will let you know if it’s possible. There’s also a foosball table which is great if you are traveling with kids. If you prefer spending some more time at the beach, then head down to Ao Nang Beach, do a spot of shopping, or enjoy a massage. I’d also recommend going to The Tree House Cafe for a meal out in nature or a refreshing drink. The options are endless!

Breakfast is sufficient, but could do with some improvement. It’s a good feeling sitting at breakfast with the pool and mountain view. And don’t forget their happy hour(s) – I recommend the margarita if it’s your kind of drink. 🙂

Overall, I can’t thank the staff for all of their effort in welcoming us. They always make your experience personal and behave in a professional manner. They would honestly go the extra mile to make your stay so much more enjoyable in every way possible.
