Chinese New Year Celebration vs. Bangkok’s Air Pollution

Every year thousands of people head to Bangkok’s Chinatown to celebrate the Chinese New Year. This year is no different in spite of the air pollution that has gripped the city in recent weeks, so much so that schools were ordered to close for two days.

However, it’s business as usual and everything seems be in full swing at the famous tourist attraction (Yaowarat Road), with the exception of most tourists doning protective masks to filter the air.

    1. Thanks you. Yeah, I love walking around that area. There’s always so much to see and great for photos. 😊 So far the air has cleaned up pretty well over the weekend. Let’s hope it continues! 🤞
