This resort is a haven tucked away where tranquility and relaxation can be found. It has a PRIVATE BEACH with sun chairs to give you that exclusive feeling. It’s worth mentioning that upon my first visit to the beach there was plenty of seaweed, but I was still able to swim. Don’t let this put you off because once the tide changed, the water became clear – making it so much more enjoyable.
After beach time, I went to the pool area. It’s surrounded by pool facing rooms and more greenery. There’s a swim-up bar and an ice cream freezer with an array of flavors to satisfy you.
Pool Access Rooms
I spent the night in the Deluxe Pool Access room that was surrounded by lush gardens and the sound of water trickling from the water wheel. The room is spacious and has one of the best high pressure rainfall showers I’ve experienced! As you go out onto the balcony, you have a large outdoor area with comfortable sun lounges and coffee table.
Reggae Bar
One of the best features of this resort for me was the Reggae Bar. It’s a sea-facing cocktail bar and the perfect place for sunset. Make sure to book a table or the more private ‘rooms’ which are ideal for couples and families. You won’t regret it.
In the morning, there’s a buggy service to take guests to the breakfast restaurant or pool area as it’s on a hill. Once again, there was an incredible view of the ocean as you breakfast. TIP: Try out the pancake & waffle station.
My final thoughts: It’s definitely worth checking out and I plan to return to Crown Lanta soon!
